More work and the ancient theatre of Kourion
Welcome ceremony by the Mayor of Limassol
The groups took a bus to the city center and walked to the town hall, were they were received with some really involving traditional music and dancing. They were later greeted by the Mayor in the Council Room.
Lecture at the Technological University of Cyprus and EuroMed conference
The students had the opportunity to attend a lecture and be informed about the latest activities on the digitalization of the cultural heritage.
Visit to the Ledra street check-point
The groups drove to Nicosia where they visited the Archaeological museum and later walked to Ledra Street. They could meditate on the fact that Nicosia is the only divided capital city after 1989 and the fall of the Berlin Wall. Ledra Street divides the Northern part of Nicosia from the Southern part and operates as a pedestrian crossing line.
Farewell ceremony
The groups had a party at school were the had the opportunity to enjoy some time together, dance sing and leave their handprints on a dedicated wall. They also received mobility attendance certificates.
