Erasmus+ is one of the most successful programmes of the European Union and, since 1987, brings people together, promotes cultural exchange and peace all over the world.
Erasmus+ funding supports various activities such as mobility (study or training abroad), partnerships between educational institutions, and innovative projects in the field of education, youth, and sport. It also aims to enhance employability and encourage personal development among participants.
Our project
Citizens Without Borders – Empowering Communities across Europe
This project is created along a homonymmous Erasmus Partnership which focuses on understanding European citizenship, fostering global citizens with a priority on sustainability in tourism, work, environment, and cultural heritage.
By exploring the cultures of other European communities through workshops and training, students from Greece, Cyprus, Sweden and Italy will grasp the EU’s cultural diversity, shared values, and common heritage.
They will appreciate cultural diversity, promote inclusion, tolerance, and acceptance, while collaborating with peers of various backgrounds. Students will also develop autonomy, teamwork, decision-making skills, and digital competence, preparing them to be responsible European and global citizens, with enhanced job opportunities. Digitalisation is key to this objective.
